Chris and his team did a great job on our house at about ⅔ the price of other contractors I talked to. At first I was wary because Chris’s bid was just a page with one number at the bottom whereas others gave me lots of itemized details. But after working with him on some smaller jobs, I came to trust Chris completely. He stuck to his bid and didn’t nickel and dime us over small changes. He insisted on doing everything to a high standard even when it took him more time and I might not even have noticed the difference. His crew and his subs were all excellent and pleasant to be around. Chris did our back deck, laundry room, driveway, and kitchen. We had plans for the kitchen but not for the back deck, and he worked with me to figure out exactly what shape to make it and how to connect the path to it. Overall I was very pleased and would recommend Fortner Construction highly (except that Chris has questionable taste in music :)

My husband and I worked with Chris for a complete remodel of our condo's kitchen. From the beginning, Chris offered great, candid advice and was upfront about all costs. As first-time remodelers, we really appreciated his ability to walk us through all steps of the process. His team was also great, very friendly and respectful of our space. And the end result is amazing! We're truly impressed with the quality of workmanship and the team's ability to adapt with our changes. I would definitely recommend Chris, and hope to work with him again when we're ready to re-do our bathrooms.
